    Position summary

    of Toyota's National EV Public Charging Infrastructure strategy and plan.

    Reporting to the Group Manager, EV Infrastructure & Business Strategy, the person in this role will support the EV Charging Solutions department's objective to enable Toyota and Lexus EV customers to confidently and sustainably go more places.

    What you'll be doing

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive public charging infrastructure strategy and plan that ensures access to safe and reliable public charging infrastructure for Toyota and Lexus customers.

    • Lead and oversee the daily operations and responsibilities of the EV Public Charging team, including the establishment of a roadmap for the tracking and coordination of a wide range of projects and milestones

    • Understand the unique challenges and opportunities of EV public charging and provide customized solutions that differentiate the Toyota customer experience.

    • Identify strategic priorities across various departments and ensure such priorities are reflected within the Toyota and Lexus public charging experience.

    • Develop and design new business model opportunities for Toyota in public charging infrastructure.

    • Lead efforts to capture value and monetize EV charging infrastructure opportunities.

    • Lead negotiations and execution of partnerships, ventures, collaborations, and investments with key third party partners.

    • Coordinate and ensure the consistent flow of information regarding Toyota's public infrastructure strategy across the Business Development division and all applicable Toyota stakeholders.

    • Work directly with the Group Manager, EV Infrastructure & Business Strategy, to align on the strategy and implementation of the Toyota and Lexus customer public charging experience as it relates to changing market conditions.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's Degree from Accredited 4 year college or university; and/or commensurate experience.

    • Proven experience in strategic planning, business planning, product management, finance, and/or management consulting.

    • Strong business acumen, financial modeling, and analytical skills.

    • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage across multiple internal and external groups.

    • Previous experience coaching, managing, and leading team members.

    • Strong ability to break down and solve problems using fundamental principles.

    • Comfortable with uncertainty and adaptable to change in a fast-moving business environment.

    Added bonus if you have

    • MBA with Strategy and/or Finance concentration.

    • Significant EV Public Charging infrastructure knowledge and understanding.

    • Previous experience in a business development role.
