The Senior STEM recruiter develops and executes recruiting strategies to hire digital technology talent that focuses on complex software for cybersecurity, infrastructure & operations, advanced technology, and portfolio management (dealer and shopper experience). The recruiter will consult, influence, and foster deep working relationships with hiring managers while driving equal process ownership for building and growing talent.
Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the recruiter will partner with the TA team to leverage market hiring data to continuously refine the hiring effectiveness and quality of candidates. Candidate experience will also be a top priority by delivering a consistent and informative candidate experience aligned to our TA "Customer First" mantra. The successful candidate will have effective interpersonal skills and polished verbal and written communication
This position is based in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide full life cycle recruiting for FTE technical roles within a STEM client group or groups like OneTech, Information and Digital Solutions, R&D, Digital Transformation and Mobility, Data Science, and more.
Build the best matched, most diverse candidate slates, employing multiple proactive sourcing strategies to build the candidate pool. Shepherd candidates efficiently and effectively through the recruiting process including technical assessments, immigration intakes, and hiring team interviews.
Provide thorough, proactive, and transparent communication and excellent customer service to key stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
Establish collaborative, customer-focused relationships with hiring managers/teams, and provide recommendations and best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruiting process.
Ensure compliance with Toyota policies and employment laws covering recruiting and hiring practices.
Work closely with Toyota immigration SME on candidates who require immigration support in the hiring and offer process.
Understand the Toyota business model, organization, strategy, and drivers, impart your knowledge of these initiatives in your conversations with candidates.
Exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, discretion, and creativity to changing needs and situations.
Serve as a brand ambassador for Toyota ensuring candidates are engaged with and motivated by opportunities here.
Participate in some universities and select external recruiting events, as appropriate to the opportunities within the STEM business group you support.
Participate in various Talent Acquisition ad hoc project initiatives.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree (or higher), or high school diploma and equivalent years of experience
Full cycle recruiting experience, with 5 or more years in technical recruiting
High proficiency at proactive sourcing techniques using Phenom, SeekOut, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean, Google Xray, Github, ATS/CRM sourcing tools, social media (Slack, Reddit, other), and online niche resources
Proven ability to successfully manage recruit metrics and provide consistent and correct up-to-date information on assigned requisitions
Experience supporting candidates who require work visa sponsorship, and a baseline familiarity with immigration regulations
