    Position summary

    objective to support Heavy Duty Fuel Cell vehicle development for the US market.

    What you'll be doing

    • Support resource management (Fuel Cell Bench test schedules, test cell utilization management, maintenance, etc.)

    • Identify & resolve problems associated with Fuel Cell test cell operations & functionality, by working with associated engineering groups - including TMC.

    • Perform work within test schedules to maintain project targets and expectations

    • Able to handle multiple Project assignments, related travel and out-of-office working conditions

    • Build consensus & trust with internal & external project teams for positive outcome

    • Support the instrumentation of Fuel Cell Bench test cell(s) with proprietary and off-the-shelf test equipment

    • Support Fuel Cell system evaluation, data collection & data analysis when required

    • Perform data collection, data analysis & issue Technical Reports for Fuel Cell Bench projects

    • Diagnose & repair problems related to instrumentation, hybrid systems, Fuel Cell systems, and electrical systems

    • Support the development of new test procedures, standards, etc. & provide training to project team as necessary

    • Support KPI development with regular reports to Fuel Cell Bench team & management

    • Support development & use of Job Instruction Sheets (JIS'), Job Safety Analysis (JSA's), Risk Assessments (RA's), etc.

    • Domestic & International travel up to 30%

    What you bring

    • High School diploma or GED plus automotive technical trade school certification with 8-years minimum of automotive service industry experience

    • Minimum 1-year of R&D experience with Toyota Fuel Cell systems

    • Knowledge & working level experience of Toyota Fuel Cell systems & related components

    • Strong electrical background - theory & working level experience

    • Working level experience with Fuel Cell test cell operations

    • Written & oral communication skills are essential - with attention to details

    • Excellent driving record

    Added bonus if you have

    • Working level experience with Toyota data acquisition systems such as Panel 3 / 4, CAN data logger, etc.

    • Working level understanding & application of Toyota test procedures, policies and procedures related to test cell operations

    • Working level understanding of Toyota problem solving methodology either through Quality Circles or completion of a Toyota Business Practice (TBP)

    The annual base salary range for this position is $80,700.00 - $131,200.00.
