    Position summary

    ng principles and contributing to the overall stability and success of the connected vehicle infrastructure.

    What you'll be doing

    • Play key role in maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of software systems.

    • Develop and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to measure the performance and reliability of the system.

    • Set up and maintain monitoring systems to track key performance indicators and system health.

    • Implement strategies for auto-scaling and resource optimization to meet demand efficiently.

    • Contribute to strategic planning for Operations Reliability Engineering team.

    • Collaborate cross development leads to identify and implement improvements.

    • Participate in on-call rotations to respond promptly to P1/P2 incidents.

    • Conduct reliability reviews of new systems or changes to existing ones.

    • Maintain documentation for operational procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting runbooks.

    • Propose and implement changes to enhance the overall resilience of the system.

    What you bring

    • Proficiency in Java coding, profiling, and source code control tools

    • Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch

    • Experience setting up and configuring monitors, alerts, dashboards and log-based metrics using AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, or third-party tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus.

    • Relevant work experience in cloud computing, infrastructure management, or DevOps roles

    • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

    • Proficiency in defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level objectives (SLOs) for AWS-based applications and services.

    • Proficiency in incident management processes, including incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.

    • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in AWS environments, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and implement remediation measures.

    Added bonus if you have.

    • Bachelors in CS, BA, MIS or equivalent work experience

    • Hands on experience with Firebase Performance Monitoring

    • Performance or load testing experience

    • Service virtualization tools

    • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvements.

    • AWS, Java or SRE Certification
