    Who we're looking for

    Toyota's Indirect Procurement Shared Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Procurement Sourcing Analyst for the Marketing & Dealer Services area.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the creation and execution of category procurement strategies for the following Marketing Dealer Services categories:

    • Dealer Support Services: Parts/Service Accessories, Tools Sales, Dealer Facilities, Brand Signage, Dealer Technicians, Dealer Software, Wholesale & Collision Tools and Services

    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Digital customer relationship management where Internet communications channels and technologies are used to enhance customer relationship management (CRM) and customer experience management (CEM) initiatives.

    • Owner Communications: Services focused on direct customers support and convenience including owner communications to support special service campaign activities

    Reporting to the Marketing Dealer Services Category Manager, the person in this role will support the Indirect Procurement department's objective to implement procurement strategies to reduce cost and mitigate risk for the business.

    What you'll be doing

    • Departments Supported: Toyota/Lexus Marketing departments, Product Quality, Lexus & Toyota Customer Experience division

    • Operational Communication: Works frequently with analyst through Sr. Manager level on day-to-day operations (e.g. req to PO process, development of scope for SOWs, supplier adds, etc.). Works closely with Legal during contract negotiations and Accounting and Finance on budget reconciliation and reporting.

    • Strategic Communication: Provide updates on major contract negotiations and/or sourcing events to GMs, VPs and GVPs in the Toyota and Lexus Marketing departments.

    • Developing and implementing multi-year sourcing strategies for responsible spend categories.

    • Designing, planning and completing key Request for Proposal, information, quote, etc.

    • Effectively manage and all sourcing and price negotiation activities and in-coming ad hoc business unit requests.

    • Manage req to PO process for the above commodities.

    • Build and maintain close relationships with business units and supplier partners to deliver comprehensive and cross-enterprise process improvement solutions.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 1-4 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry)
    • Skills/Hands-on Technical proficiency:
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexities and successfully set priorities for meeting time-bound deliverables

      • Exceptional analytic, organization, presentation and interpersonal skills with applied solid judgement and strategic thinking

      • Demonstrated collaboration, communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills

      • Demonstrated negotiation experience

      • Strong knowledge of contract process

    Added bonus if you have

    • Skills/Hands on Technical proficiency:

      • Experience with SAP/Ariba
      • Demonstrated ability to forecast, develop, and manage a budget & budget strategy
      • Complex, multi-group contract negotiations
    • Automotive experience

    • 4 or more years of relevant work experience in a similar field and/or industry)
