    Position summary

    preparation for Major Model Prototype Assembly builds. Lead a team of lead a team of 2-6 North American Manufacturing Center (NAMC) team members during large CV builds, participate in vehicle assembly during small retrofit builds, and may support in Evaluation processes, Weld, Paint and Fabrication as needed.

    What you'll be doing

    • Assembly Project lead for current and future major model builds - this includes creating detailed operating plans, coordinating between assembly line and customer (parts or vehicle concerns).

    • Standardize internal processes, conduct reflection and propose continuous improvement activities.

    • Lead and mentor problem solving activities - Toyota Business Practice (TBP) and JKK.

    • Support budget, resources, and strategic planning; support annual goals development and interdependent safety mindset of the group.

    • Safety Management System ownership.

    What you bring

    • 10 years' experience of vehicle disassembly/assembly or a combination of automotive experience and advanced technical training.

    • 5 years' experience in vehicle electronic trouble shooting and diagnosing.

    • 2 years' Project Schedule Development, Management, and Leadership.

    • Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data/scheduling, PowerPoint for creating presentations and Word for creating weekly reports).

    Added bonus if you have

    • Participation in Quality problem solving.

    • Experience in vehicle electronic trouble shooting and diagnosing.

    • Experience reading vehicle design/electrical drawings.

    • Experience performing vehicle evaluations against documented standards.

    • Experience using AutoCAD for shop floor layout.
