    What we're looking for:

    Toyota Mississippi is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Stamping / BOPs Tool & Die Group Leader. The primary responsibility of this role is to Manage daily operations and maintain morale at the group level. The person in this role will support Toyota Mississippi Stamping department's objectives to meet Company KPIs.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Develop and manage standards related to team member safety and professional growth.

    • Ensure effective communication of Change-point Management across all shifts and sections within the Stamping Shop.

    • Lead daily TBP Style problem-solving efforts for Tool & Die issues while mentoring team members to develop these skills.

    • Collaborate, communicate, and negotiate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.

    • Oversee team leader / team member training and development initiatives.

    • Plan and prepare documentation for weekend and shutdown work activities.

    • Track and analyze the "Top 3" Tool & Die problems, utilizing Toyota problem-solving methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

    • Develop and present Stamping Tool & Die activities and progress reports to Senior Management.

    • Lead Die Technology improvements aimed at enhancing Stamping Quality.

    • Monitor and manage team member attendance & time entry.

    What you bring:

    • Knowledge of visual management of key point indicators, such as Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost

    • Tool & Die Repair and Troubleshooting experience

    • Proficient in Microsoft systems (word, excel, power point)

    • Experience with preparing/delivering presentations

    • Experience in coaching/ developing others and relationship building

    • Ability to rotate shifts

    • Overtime flexibility based on business need

    • Must be in your current shops preliminary GL Pool (Recommended by your management team and passed all prerequisite requirements)

    Added bonus if you have:

    • Experience in manufacturing die technologies.

    • Basic understanding of problem-solving tools such as TBP, Fishbone, and 5 Why.

    • Familiarity with risk analysis tools.

    • Welding & Machining experience

    • AutoCAD proficiency

    • Tool & Die Trainer experience
