What you'll do:
- Lead Recruiting Ops Tools & Processes: Own and optimize all aspects of our recruiting operations, including managing our applicant tracking system (ATS), job boards, and other relevant recruiting tools.
- Build Scalable Processes: Create and refine recruiting processes that improve candidate experience, internal efficiency, and partnerships with hiring teams, with a heavy emphasis on efficient scalability as recruiting needs increase.
- Recruiting Programs: Lead efforts to design, implement, and manage recruiting programs that focus on candidate sourcing, referral programs, and more, including building resources and leading trainings for interviewers, hiring managers, and recruiters.
- Lead a Team: Manage a Recruiting Operations Associate, with an expectation to coach, develop, and grow your team.
- Shape Our Employer Brand: Work closely with the talent acquisition, marketing, and communications teams to help tell our story across recruiting channels and ensure a consistent message that reflects Underdog's culture and values.
- Data & Insights: Use data to analyze key recruiting metrics, provide insights, and develop reports to keep stakeholders in the loop and help drive recruiting decisions, in partnership with Recruiting leadership and Analytics partners.
- Headcount Planning: Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to manage the headcount planning process, ensuring alignment with business goals and budget.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all recruiting operations are compliant with employment laws and regulations while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all hiring practices.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep a finger on the pulse of recruiting technologies and best practices, continuously recommending ways we can level up.
Who you are:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or recruiting operations in a fast-growing environment
- Proven track record of managing tools and vendor relationships for recruiting tools and an ATS
- Excellent capability in designing, scaling, and optimizing internal processes, leveraging technology where appropriate
- Experience collaborating with leadership teams on headcount planning to align recruiting needs with business goals
- Comfort designing and leading trainings and resources for interviewers, hiring managers, and recruiters
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable measuring the success of recruiting initiatives and use metrics to inform strategy
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solver, capable of navigating ambiguity and proposing and implementing solutions
- Ability to travel occasionally as-needed

Experience leading a headcount planning process for HR, leadership, and Finance.

Experience leading tool and vendor RFP processes.

Experience leading employer branding and understand how to craft a compelling narrative that resonates with potential candidates.

Previous experience as a recruiter and/or in a technology/process strategy role.
Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $150,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate's skills and experience, among other things.
