    Position summary

    ng, we are the conduit for all incidents, and as Associate Engineer - Production Service, you''ll be expected to play a critical role in ensuring all incidents are triaged and resolved efficiently and effectively, while working across teams in India, the United States, and Europe. At Xperi, you''ll be a problem-solver, a change agent, and a thought leader. This is a technical role focused on Incident Management, but also has crucial elements of Software Development (automation, APIs, web services, etc.), DevOps (automation, CI/CD pipelines, etc.) and Change Management (release best practices).

    Who we are looking for:

    Must have:

    • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

    • Demonstrate ability to work and collaborate in a process improvement environment.

    • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux.

    • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, C#, and Java.

    • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to systems, servers (Windows/Linux/ Amazon Web Services (AWS)), and critical services.

    • Work with Engineering, Database, and IT teams to resolve problems.

    • Experience with monitoring and observability based on Splunk.

    • Monitor production device population and respond to monitoring alerts.

    • Monitor system performance and capacity and identify areas for improvement.

    • Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

    • Create and maintain knowledge base documentation.

    • Maintain total outage / disaster recovery documentation.

    • Keep abreast of current observability, system, architecture, and software development trends and best practices.

    • Must be on-call.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience on Docker, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and Cloud Architecture (AWS).

    • Familiarity with version control concepts (Git).

    • Data analysis and data visualization toolsets (Tableau, etc.).

    • Knowledge of Change Management best practices.
