Job purpose:

We are looking for an Engineer, SDET who would be part of the scrum team and contribute to full stack automation along with manual testing. The person should be experienced in programming experience(Java/Python) and hands-on in Pytest framework, practical experience on Selenium, REST, API testing experience with using instrumentation tools, understanding of Continuous Integration practices, understanding of agile cross-functional development practices; have experience with version control systems, and a familiarity with UI/UE design and development

Here''s what you get to do:

• Design and develop PCD Convo end-to-end test cases and test suites

• Full stack automation including DB, API, Integration, E2E and UI automation

• Proactively communicate with the development team during the development cycle and participate in the designs and documentation of new features.

• Reviewing product requirements and writing test plans to verify feature functionality, and defining expected results

• Manual execution of the test plans and report bugs, and verify as the bugs get resolved

• Execute test cases manually and participate in bake/regression activities as needed, and verify bugs

• Work cross-functionally with Product, PM, Prod Support, and Dev to release quality products

• Take complete responsibility for features and be accountable for the quality of those right from the conception to delivery

• Manage test datasets to make automated tests reproducible.

• Continuously evaluate and communicate/report test status and application issues to upper management and other stakeholders.

Who we are looking for?

• More than 2 years of experience in quality engineering, heavily involved in automation, worked in an agile environment and moved the needle in quality.

• Should be technically savvy, have expertise in full stack open source automation frameworks like Pytest, Robot Framework

• Must have experience in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Preferably Python.

• Excellent communication skills as this role requires interaction with people in different geographies and time zones.

• Testing experience in a Large REST API.

• Working experience in full-stack automation

• Solid experience in the design and development of automation frameworks, preferably using open-source frameworks and tools

• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage using automation

• Troubleshooting skills to be able to look at logs to debug issues

• Ability to function in fast paced, ever-changing digital media environment

• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and continuous integration tools Jenkins and Jira

Good to have:

• Knowledge of docker containers, Kubernetes, cloud

• Working with open source frameworks development such as Robot framework, Pytest for end to end automation

• Experience or knowledge of python/Django

Education Required:

Bachelors/Master''s degree in Computer Science or related field
