You will be involved in day-to-day network support, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting activities to ensure smooth operations. With guidance from senior team members, you will assist in implementation, maintenance, and improvement of both private and public network infrastructure.
This role focuses on learning and developing technical skills while contributing to ongoing network projects and operations. You will work on resolving issues, following standard processes, and supporting the team in maintaining network stability and performance. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and gradually build your expertise in enterprise networking.
What you will get to do:
Support day-to-day network operations including monitoring, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
Assist in network upgrades, installations, and configurations under the guidance of senior engineers.
Monitor network connectivity and performance to ensure stable and reliable operations.
Provide basic technical support to internal users for LAN/WAN and network-related issues.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution and implementation activities.
Participate in documentation, reporting, and maintaining network-related records.
Assist in disaster recovery activities and testing when required.
Who we are looking for:
Must have:
Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, and BGP.
Familiarity with firewall concepts (preferably Palo Alto).
Hands-on exposure on Cisco switches, routers, and wireless.
Basic knowledge of VPN/IPSEC concepts.
1-2 years of experience in Enterprise Networking or relevant internships/training.
Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of cloud networking (AWS).
Exposure to monitoring tools or ticketing systems.
Basic scripting or automation knowledge (Python is a plus).
Awareness of SD-WAN concepts.
