We are seeking an experienced software developer focused on testing to join our dynamic team in Taipei. You will design and develop certification test packages to ensure the quality and functionality of DTS audio technologies in consumer end-devices.

You will collaborate closely with developers, test engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality test automation solutions. This role offers the potential for growth into a dual development and team management position for the ideal candidate.

What you will get to do:

• Design, develop, and maintain certification packages for testing DTS technologies in consumer devices.

• Develop automated programs to test DTS technology integrations, device interfaces, and generate test reports.

• Maintain code bases using repositories, CI/CD build pipelines, and unit tests to ensure code quality.

• Create and develop test plans, ensuring correct coverage and clear documentation of test modules and cases.

• Work with various end products like TVs, soundbars, AVRs, and automotive systems to verify integrations.

• Expand your knowledge of streaming standards, audio codecs, and post-processing technologies.

• Participate in agile team activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Work closely with engineering teams to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.

Who we are looking for:

Must have:

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in software development with a focus on test automation.

• Proficient in two or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Visual Basic) with strong development and debugging skills.

• Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD build systems, and test management frameworks and tools.

• Consumer Electronics product knowledge and test experience.

• Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

• Self-motivated, curious, and willing to learn.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Able to work collaboratively as a team member.

• Well-organized, flexible, and able to multitask.

Nice to have:

• Qualifications in software testing or test automation.

• Experience with Audio Precision analysers or equivalent.
