    Position summary

    The Sr Manager - Quality Assurance, Broadcast Certifications is responsible for leading the broadcast certification program. This role ensures that Xperi''s SmartTV operating system is compliant with broadcast standards required for successful launch of a TV product across wide set of regions in EU and North America.

    Key Responsibilities
    Broadcast Certifications:

    • Oversee end-to-end certification processes for broadcast products and services.
    • Ensure compliance with international and regional broadcast standards (e.g., DVB, ATSC, HbbTV).
    • Liaise with external certification bodies, regulatory agencies, broadcast operators.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving broadcast standards and certification requirements.
    • Develop and maintain certification documentation, test plans, test equipment.

    Team Leadership & Collaboration

    • Manage a team of QA engineers and certification specialists.
    • Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback.
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration with product development, compliance, and operations teams.
    • Represent the certification group in strategic planning and product lifecycle meetings.
    • Cooperate with a broader QA group to unify and optimise engineering and certification processes.

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering / Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
    • Experience with process definition, process optimisation.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

    Preferred Skills

    • Understanding of SmartTv ecosystem.

    • Understanding of broadcast technologies and certification standards.

    • Experience in automation tools and methodologies.
