Your responsibilities will include:
Implement new features in web frontend applications, focusing on client-server communication and handling complex API integrations.
Collaborate with frontend, backend, QA, and Product Owner teams.
Maintain and improve the quality of the codebase.
Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality.
Contribute to architectural decisions.
Who we are looking for:
Must have:
4+ years of experience in software development
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with Node.js or another backend language
Proficiency with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Puppeteer)
Knowledge of state machines model (e.g. XState library)
Solid understanding of good coding practices (e.g., linting)
Knowledge of design patterns and ability to contribute to high-level designs, UML diagrams, and API definitions
Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
Basic knowledge of UNIX-based systems
Good spoken and written English (minimum B2 level)
Initiative, ownership, and a strong sense of responsibility
Curious and analytical mindset - eager to understand why things work, not just if they work
Strong communication skills and openness to collaboration
Nice to have:
Knowledge of the React library for web development, including client state libraries like Redux.
Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS
Experience with automation scripting
Familiarity with AI-based tools for code reviews (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience working in a geographically distributed team
