y Jira and Confluence. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive best practices, optimize tool usage, and provide expert guidance and support to teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary expert for all Atlassian products, with good troubleshooting skills to fix production issues single headedly.
Lead the configuration, customization, and administration of Atlassian tools to meet the needs of various teams and projects.
Develop and implement best practices for using Atlassian products and provide technical guidance and support to users.
Manage integrations between Atlassian tools and other applications, like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Github etc.
Perform regular system audits and upgrades to ensure the security, stability, and scalability of Atlassian applications.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, best practices, and troubleshooting procedures.
Stay current with new Atlassian product releases, features, and industry trends, and proactively recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 8yrs experience in administering and customizing Atlassian tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) and experience with automation within Atlassian products.
Expertise in AWS Datacenter hosting, cloud infrastructure and best practices.
Knowledge on Atlassian SaaS migrations from on-prem to Cloud migration.
Expertise in customizing plugins like Tempo, Structure, Script runner and Xray.
Experience handling consolidation of multiple Atlassian instance into single deployment and handling conflicts with zero downtime & application availability impact.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels of the organization.
Certifications in Jira/Confluence administration (e.g. Atlassian Certified Administrator or equivalent) is a plus.
