VP, Global IT Infrastructure

ucture Services will be responsible for planning and managing enterprise technology and associated processes for Xperi. The VP, IT Infrastructure Services will manage on premise and co-located data centers, server platforms supporting both enterprise and product IT, storage, network services, voice services, and end-user support. The position will lead a team of global professionals to operational excellence ensuring the availability and integrity for all IT systems as well as delivering on business priorities. A major component of the job will be to lead the modernization and transformation of the infrastructure to make it best in class with respect to being scalable, resilient, secure, efficient and cost-effective. Thi roles will also function as an IT Site leader for all IT functions across the Bangalore site and will report to the SVP, CIO.

PRIMARY DUTIES
• Takes personal pride and ownership in managing IT Infrastructure 24x7 with a high degree of operational excellence
• Ensures IT systems and all associated process are professionally managed to meet required services levels
• Develops, prepares and recommends budget for purchasing, upgrading and maintaining enterprise and product IT Infrastructure
• Develops and implements comprehensive IT costing models tied to an agreed upon catalogue of services
• Partners with IT Risk Management to ensure proper security, compliance, and business continuity/disaster recovery programs are in place at all times
• Partners with IT Architecture to design and implement appropriate technical solutions to meet business needs, improve productivity, and drive new capabilities
• Partners with IT Administration to manage large-scale Infrastructure projects to on-time, on-budget, in-scope solutions; Manages the overall portfolio of projects and deliverables for his/her function
• Partners with IT Business Solutions to plan, deploy, and effectively manage production systems and applications to enhance the operation of the business
• Develops and manages to KPIs and associated reporting that encompass effectiveness and efficiency across people, process and technology
• Develop and execute strategies to modernize IT Infrastructure by simplifying, automating and leveraging technical advance
• Effectively select and manage IT vendors and outsourcing partners for maximum benefit to the company
• Collaborates effectively with business stakeholders to ensure their needs are met with respect to IT Infrastructure Services
• Ensures performance, availability and capacity of the IT Infrastructure is maintained at all times
• Establishes and monitors policies, standards, and practices to ensure effective and consistent operations
• Prepares and keeps current documentation on all elements of IT Infrastructure
• Provide excellent personnel leadership through recruitment, training, performance evaluation/feedback, and career development for all levels of his/her organization to ensure maximum individual and team performance

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 15 years of directly job-related experience required, at least 7 years of which must be in senior management roles in companies exceeding $500M in revenue and 1,500 employees, preferably on a global scale.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Must possess broad and deep technical knowledge, including network design/operations, and voice/unified communications platforms
• Knowledge of Microsoft platforms, including O365; Cisco enterprise networking background is a must
• Knowledge of server platforms and operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX
• Knowledge of database platforms including Oracle, MS SQL And Mongo DB
• Experience running high volume, data intensive web-based IT Infrastructures oftware used in a networked and web-based environment
• ITSM practical knowledge, preferably in combination with ServiceNow experience
• Experience with information security tools ranging from desktop to network perimeter
• Strong experience in critical IT Operations processes, including Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Experience supporting developers; DevOps experience a major plus
• Knowledge of virtual environment, hypervisors, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong experience with high availability platforms, including data replication and virtual servers
• Extensive experience in IT budgeting, financial analysis, cost models and business case development
• Knowledge of quality assurance concepts and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to executive management a must
• Strong ability to develop interpersonal relationships and thrive in a collaborative setting
• Experience in thinking strategically about future directions for IT
• Strong project and portfolio management skills
• Skill in managing multiple projects, including development and management of budget.
• Strong vendor management experience
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high performance global teams, including employees, contractors and third parties
