This is a high-impact opportunity to help shape the performance and growth of our ZHL sales organization. We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Principal, Sales Enablement to lead enablement initiatives for ZHL's Loan Origination teams. This leader will serve as the critical link between sales planning, training strategy, and frontline execution. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and scaling training programs that directly impact performance and drive business outcomes.
This role requires a high degree of collaboration with sales leadership, talent success, product teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure that training programs are aligned with business needs and strategic initiatives. You'll lead a function dedicated to supporting post-onboarding development and executing key sales rollouts that improve sales motions and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Program Oversight: Manage and develop a high-performing enablement program, prioritize building training programs that focus on scalability as ZHL continues to evolve.
Develop and lead the ongoing training strategy for Loan Officers (LOs) after the new hire and incubation periods.
Partner with Learning & Development, Product, and Sales Leadership to design programmatic solutions that upskill the sales force.
Build and refine processes for documenting and analyzing training impact and adoption
Lead continuous innovation in sales training methodology and content delivery to align with the evolving ZHL sales landscape.
Translate business strategies into scalable enablement programs that are practical and actionable for frontline teams.
Collaborate closely with sales operations and analytics to identify training opportunities based on sales performance data.
Stay deeply connected to sales processes, ensuring training aligns with real-world sales motions and determine effective adoption strategies.
Act as a conduit between sales operations, sales planning and sales leadership, ensuring insights from data are turned into enablement action plans to ensure business needs and opportunities are addressed.
Lead communications, coaching, and change management for large-scale rollouts.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $127,100.00 - $203,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
10+ years of experience in sales enablement, training, or sales leadership, preferably within financial services or mortgage/lending.
Proven success leading enablement teams and managing cross-functional training programs.
Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle, sales motions, and field-level execution.
Experience rolling out large-scale strategic initiatives and change management in a sales environment.
Demonstrated ability to use data and sales diagnostics to inform enablement strategy.
Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Passion for coaching, developing talent, and enabling others to succeed.
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in mortgage lending or financial services, particularly supporting Loan Officers.
Experience in front line sales as an individual contributor or manager.
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, LMS platforms, and sales analytics dashboards.
Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and scale.
