    Position summary

    ramework to centralize logic for business metrics)

    • Product Analytics (Currently using Amplitude)

    • Business Intelligence Tooling (Tableau, Databricks dashboards) for reporting and dashboarding.

    You will:

    • Participate in the architecture, implementation, and operations of tools and processes for gaining insights from Terabytes of data.

    • Collaborate with analysts, product managers, data scientists, data engineers to understand their analytical needs and drive technical solutions.

    • Apply devops approach to continuously drive value for our end users while balancing support burden.

    • Research and pioneer the adoption and use of new technologies within Zillow.

    • Drive process improvements that affect hundreds of internal Zillow users.

    This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

    In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • A degree (BS+) in Computer Science or a related discipline

    • 3+ years of experience with building and maintaining data pipelines on databricks or spark/airflow tech stack.

    • Strong background in Java or Python

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and passionate about collaborating across organizational boundaries

    • Experience with Product analytics tools such as Amplitude, MixPanel

    • Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau, Mode, Thoughtspot, Power BI, etc.

    • Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, Databricks)

    • Passionate about data, analytics, and distributed systems.

    • History of leading projects independently at scale (company/org wide)

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and passionate about collaborating across organizational boundaries

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with LLM and prompt engineering.

    • Experience working with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)

    • Experience with Product analytics tools such as Amplitude, MixPanel, or BI Tools such as Tableau, Mode, Thoughtspot, Metabase, etc.

    • Collaboration across the company - needs to be able to partner with many different teams
