Learn more PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COACH This role supports the professional growth and development of a cohort of junior consultants to develop the mindsets and skillsets to thrive in their role today and become purposeful, inspiring leaders of tomorrow. This role combines coaching with other key ‘people’ functions (e.g., learning and development, onboarding, engagement) to support ZS employees and key business outcomes. This position is located out of our New York office. Role Responsibilities Coaching: Facilitating career growth of junior consultants through group and 1:1 coaching. Must be able to manage large cohort sizes efficiently Creating and maintaining strategic partnerships to drive business results: Collaborating with business and HR leaders to proactively plan for – or address – coachee or organizational needs (either via coaching or in partnership with the applicable function e.g., learning, onboarding, engagement) Supporting overall talent development and learning: Developing content for – and / or delivering – learning offerings to enhance the growth and development of junior consultants Supporting new joiner onboarding and integration: Supporting initiatives that enable a smooth joiner experience for new junior consultants Qualifications Background: Bachelor’s degree ~3+ years career, professional development and/or performance coaching experience ICF Certification (ACC/PCC/MCC) ~8+ years of relevant work experience Great Candidates Bring: Deep coaching expertise, with a track record of efficacy Strong understanding of work-related human and organizational dynamics, and adeptly uses this knowledge to manage sensitive topics diplomatically Proven ability to effectively solve unstructured problems independently Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to independently create and deliver effective presentations remotely and in-person Ability to deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment A strong work ethic, calmly and confidently managing across multiple priorities regularly Comfort with change, ambiguity, and involvement in work outside one’s defined role Experience building strong relationships across all organizational levels A growth mindset, with motivation to grow as a coach and professional A friendly, approachable personality that enables others to feel safe quickly Role Nice-To-Have’s: Experience with group / team coaching Prior consulting experience or experience coaching consultants Prior HR experience Leadership and/or executive coaching experience Perks & Benefits: ZS offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health and well-being, financial planning, annual leave, personal growth and professional development.
