"While there is some flexibility in what time you work, it is still consulting - so you do end up working a lot of hours. Be consistent with your boundaries early on."

"16 weeks, plus can use any accrued vacation up to get you up to 24 weeks (6 month). Vacation isn't use it or lose it so this is a pretty common practice."
