Intentional Clarity

Sometimes we can have a twisted idea of self care- that it has to be a long time-consuming process of taking a hot bubble bath, having a cup of tea, and spending hours alone but it doesn’t have to be.

If that’s your thing then girl- you go for it because it sounds wonderful. Sometimes I have time for that, but most of the time...I don’t. I think a lot of us would dream of a day we could fully dedicate to caring for ourselves but even if you don’t have 8-10 hours, we can still find a moment to breath and re-center ourselves. What is your favorite thing to do for yourself?!

I try to get self-care for at least a minute every hour with my Apple Watch! It tells me to stand — and I take a minute and move around, do some jumping jacks, and just take a pause. It's a great way to take a second for me during a busy day. What about you?

Love this! Mornings are my sacred self-care time so I really try to start the day off positive and centered. During the day I take time to breath and move around as well :)

What an awesome start to the day. The positivity must carry with you throughout the rest of the day!

I agree it does seem the popular form of self care seems to be inaccessible to those of us who live with a bunch of people, have kids, work two jobs, etc. I think my favorite form of self care is getting outside and away from home. Or just walking out in the evenings even if it's not far away and finding some peace that way.

yes 100% being outside is one of the best things you can do in general for your health so I love that it fills your cup! Disconnecting and finding that quiet time to enjoy your own company is so important
