I mean like where can I go to find a career or the training I need to start a career doing this.

That will depend on how you decide you want to help. Mental health care providers undergo extensive training. Doulas go through a certification and training process (google DONA for more info). You can see if you like helpline work as a volunteer at PSI (https://www.postpartum.net/join-us/volunteer-with-psi/). Alternatively, 2020 Mom has trainings online that might help you decide what you want to do in the area of postpartum support. I am sure there are many other wonderful resources and training possibilities, but these are a few I’m familiar with personally.
