Medidata offers Paid Maternity / Parental Leave for those who have one year of service with the company. Paid Maternity Leave offers up to 56 days of disability and 120 days of Paid Parental Leave meanwhile Paid Parental Leave offers 120 days of leave. The benefit schedule for Paid Maternity Leave is 100% of base salary for 8 weeks and first 30 days of Paid Parental Leave, 90% for the second 30 days, 80% for the third 30 days and 70% for the last 30 days. Paid Parental Leave has the same benefit schedule except for the 100% for the 8 weeks (56 days). To be eligible for Paid Maternity / Parental Leave, the employee must have one year of service with Medidata.
Medidata offers 8 weeks (56 days) of short term disability to new moms at 100% base salary. It does not matter if the employee has a vaginal or C-Section as they are eligible for 8 weeks of recovery.
