Santander is committed to supporting new parents as they care for and bond with their newborn and newly adopted child(ren). Santander’s Parental Leave program provides all employees up to six weeks of paid leave. Santander’s Parental Leave is in addition to the eight weeks of paid time off birth mothers receive under the Short-Term Disability program. If both parents work for Santander, each parent may take up to six weeks under the Parental Leave program.
effective as of the date of hire, Santander employees are eligible to apply for paid benefits through the STD program. If approved, an employee can receive income replacement for up to 180 days (130 business days) and job-protection during their STD benefits period.
