    • At Wells Fargo & Co., eligible new parent employees can take advantage of paid time away from work to bond with their new child and adjust to their new family situation. Separate from the company’s other paid time off offerings, this benefit would give employees up to 16 weeks for the parent who certifies that he or she is the primary caregiver, while others get up to four weeks.
    • Almost 8,000 Wells Fargo employees have used paid parental leave since the company first began offering it last June. Three-quarters have used the 16 weeks of leave for primary parental caregivers, and the remaining quarter have used the four weeks of leave for non-primary parental caregivers. Males make up 20 percent of the primary leaves, and 91 percent of the non-primary leaves.
