"The culture is very dependent on which department you are in. There is definitely a toxic culture in some groups. It's also difficult to get work done as it's all about your network rather than the role you are in."

"Completely depends on the role but they have announced that there won't be remote working moving forward. So strange when other companies are going to remote and WF is pulling everyone into the office (not during COVID) but soon."

"Be prepared to network with leadership. It is very important for your name to be in their head, most internal jobs are made with someone in mind. There aren't promotions, you apply and compete with both internal and external candidates."

"The culture has changed significantly and that's been a process ongoing since 2016. The culture has shifted away for acceptance and equality and today there is: silent social exclusion, invisible barriers (title increases going to 9 men out of ten people in 2020), woman not being supported nor heard and a whole lot of window dressing D&I that really doesn't mean much. "

"For many years, Wells Fargo had a hire the best talent regardless of location approach building a workforce in locations without a corporate presence. There was flexibility in most departments related to remote or hybrid work. The current work from home approach is being replaced with an active return to office campaign which impact all individuals; and those not near an office location even more (displacements, employee re-location decisions, very long commutes, etc.) While there is general flexibility to manage your day, the workload and delivery expectations continue to increase without regard to employee impact. "
