    Salary ranges are invisible to most employees, only HR and management have access. Have learned that male counterparts in my same position are making at least 30K more than me, with less experience and fewer skills. New CEO within the past 10 years has stronger vision and direction, and he has started to change things for the better with his implementation of HOS and driving simplicity. But due to the size of the company and the "good ole boy" mentality within the manufacturing businesses, it's been very slow to change. Good news is that a good number of the employees are due to retire within the next 5-10 years (very aged population) and that will hopefully drive out a lot of the stubborness to change.

    I have been here for 4 years and never in my career experiences such inequality. In general the work atmosphere is unhealthy (continue to eliminate benefits, lay off - do more with less etc.) It does make a difference who your managers is, but in my experience here - good managers who let their employees manage work life balance do not last here.

    I have been an employee for 11 years and I have never worked for a female. Males pretty much dominate those roles and women, in my opinion, aren't given a fair shot. Women in this company tend to play he supporting cast roles. I haven't had to take maternity leave yet, but I will be in about 5 months so we'll see how I am treated or affected.
