Part of the subsidiaries do not get Maternity leave at all. So one finds that female employees leave the organisation.

Improve work-life balance; salaries not paid on time; gaps & delay in renewal of medical insurance; increments unfair (paltry sums) & not paid for full year (partly swindled); full & final settlements of ex employees not promptly settled- delay causing severe grief which could lead to taking legal action against the company.

Even though there are predominantly more women than men in the merchandising side, unfortunately women tend to be each other's biggest critics.

small and so no real HR which causes problems for things like maternity leave or changes in policies - it's all case by case which is less fair

AMS offers the opportunity to work from home full-time, which has been a life-changer when it comes to caring for my family. They are very flexible when it comes to hours and have the mentality of getting the job done on your schedule.

There has been a push in recent years to provide better maternity/family benefits and support for women on campus. The Dean is very supportive of balancing family and work life (although I am working probably around 70 hours a week to meet expectations from students and for research - and really avoiding any extra service).
