Women's Job Satisfaction (5=very satisfied)

If you can get pass all of the potentially unethical ways of this industry, their US President is a woman, who's smart and totally charming, you'd think it would be a great place for women. You must be willing to tote the company line, always, even when you don't agree. If you are a joiner, and just want a place to fit in, you may really like it.

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. It runs like a sorority or fraternity, if you conform and say/do exactly what they want, it may be a great fit for you, seriously. If you value free thinking and safe places to explore concepts or express opposing views, especially ones based in ethics, this is seen as dissent and you will not "fit in". They will make sure you feel it.

They do promote men and women equally. There are many women in leadership positions.

It depends on which market you are working with, but this employer in my region does not support flex-time and demands constant after-hours communication as well as checking-in during time off.

I've been here for less than a year but from what I've observed, we have a healthy policy towards maternity leave and time-offs needed for family.

If there every is any perceived discrimination, I think it'd be fairly contained to one specific person; and I do think that HR would take it seriously if you brought it to their attention. There are good anonymous paths to take. In my experience, though, women had very positive career outlooks.
