"the company is woman friendly in general but the company policies are not very work visa friendly. God forbid if actual help is needed, HR just throws in the towel."

"be prepared to work hard. Worried about people who do the work and get the job done being recognized over the "schmoozers" (as with most major corps. Ultimately, I see more women in certain departments being embraced. "

"There are two ways to work for Allstate; either in an agency or corporate. I believe on the corporate side of things, the equality is much better. However, if you work for an agent, the pay, benefits, etc. is based on what they want to provide. A lot of agents are great, but in my time I've noticed a lot of differences in what agents pay their staff, how much they disclose to their staff, and here in Utah it's definitely a boys club unfortunately. "
