Allstate’s new workplace strategy, created based on employee feedback, is focused on providing greater flexibility in how, when, and where their team works. In the long term, approximately 75% of Allstate employees in the U.S. will remain primarily home-based, with access to local offices if they so choose. Another 24% will primarily work in a hybrid model, splitting their time between Allstate offices and their home office. Only 1% of employees in jobs that are dependent on being in an office to be successful will return to a pre-pandemic-style office setting full-time. Allstate believes in continuing to attract the best talent regardless of where they reside, which is why the majority of new job openings won’t be tied to a specific city. Allstate is also implementing new tools and technology to enable their new workplace strategy.
