"Stand your ground, if a contractor speaks to you in an inappropriate manner remind them that this is a business/sales call. If they refuse to speak to you with respect, you can hang up. Some contractors will ask you questions about yourself (where you're from, how old are you, etc), but remember you are not obligated to share this type of info with them... Whenever I'd get a personal question I would quickly decline to answer and change the conversation back to the product by asking them a question about their business."

"My manager was excellent - I was never given any gripe when needing to call in sick, even though we worked remotely. He had been a rep before and understood what it was like to be in our shoes. The job itself was challenging and monotonous, but my manager did his best to make work enjoyable."
