"Many women hold senior positions. Gender does not seem to play a role in North America promotions. However, Indian promotions are very different. Female employees in India are much more likely to be held back from promotions simply due to their personalities or behavior seemingly against the female norms of Indian culture."

"It's a challenge for the administrative assistants to 'grow' in their roles. There is still a bit of the 'old school' thinking in terms of what an AA's role is. We are valued, however, just doesn't reflect in the pay."

"I've worked here for 7 years and there are a lot of women in middle management roles, but none in upper level management. I've never personally experienced sexism, but there's a subtle issue of women not advancing in to higher level roles."
