New president (2 years) has a much improved viewpoint on woman in leadership. Harder to hurdle with some of the old school senior leadership.

Sonoco has an amazing culture that I value highly. Their company value is to "Do the Right Thing" and I really believe most people there take it to heart. They just need to promote more women into leadership positions.

December 2015

The work-life balance will be terrible if you work as a project manager for either publishing division--to meet deadlines, you will probably be working 10-12 hour days plus weekends for 8-9 months of the year. Women who disagreed with management were openly labelled as "problems" within the company and were essentially forced out through alienation. Women are promoted up into management roles, but there is a pay difference between men and women for most roles.

Great working conditions for women and men. Gives time to family once in a morning shift. Many supervisors are women just as men.
