DO NOT DO IT, IT IS LISTED AS A NOT FOR PROFIT.....BUT THE ADMINISTRATORS MAKE SIX PLUS FIGURES, WHILE CUTTING BACK ON EMPLOYEE PERKS, OR RAISES. EVEN EQUIPMENT OR MORE NEEDED STAFF. BECAUSE WHERE THEY CHOOSE TO SPEND THEIR MONEY IS NOT ON THE NECESSARY DEMANDS TO MAKE A HOSPITAL SAFE FOR ALL INVOLVED

UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU NEED OFF 2-3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE, YOU HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE TO TRADE SHIFTS WITH YOU. OFTEN NO ONE WANTS TO. USUALLY THE REASON TO NOT ADJUST YOUR SCHEDULE IS IT COULD BE A DAYSHIFT, RATHER THAN NIGHT SHIFT; OR IT IS OFTEN, NO ONE WILL RETURN THE FAVOR TO YOU WHENEVER YOU'VE SAID YES TO EVERYONE.

July 2018

Learning and development is mostly focused on men. Women are often treated very differently, especially in meetings and when trying to convey a technical POV to other technical folks. There are also very very few women in executive level positions - the CEO constantly talks about how this happened solely because he "hires the right person for the job". Whilst their culture looks great from the outside, there is a dark side to FreshBooks that you only see once you spend time with the executive level personnel.

Be extremely careful because it’s political and sexist and they micromanage your every assignment.

August 2017

While I think the company supports women, there are still hurdles and you need to make sure to speak up and advocate. I think everyone's opinions are respected, and if you bring up issues you have a voice. Especially when speaking with direct managers, I have found equal treatment of women, but that is just my experience.
