"There are minimal opportunities for advancement. The management level in the Rehabilitation department is currently and old-boys club. Management will not allow you to adjust your schedule if needed to improve work-life balance. They use the guise that this will improve patient care, however my current department was not fully staffed every weekend and was functioning well. They changed all of our schedules for us to work more weekends purely for control. They have increased the amount of work with no increase in pay. They have found a way to make us work holidays and weekends with no extra pay.
