The STRIDE initiative is a real asset and I think the company has a good CSR policy. They are also committed to training and developing staff which is excellent. You need to be confident in what you want and push for that, there is a sense that flexible policies are more in name than in practice. Women are in leadership positions and this is encouraging.

Avoid - women are underestimated and underrepresented. There is two men in an executive roles who has made repeated condescending comments about working mothers and sexist evaluations of female employees performance and behavior (ex. “Clique-y” “hormonal” and “bitchy”. The CEO and HR turn a blind eye.

The College is an excellent place to work. I am a part-time worker so I can't speak to FT benefits or family leave. However, the people and systems have been very accommodating to me. I feel fully supported, comfortable and have always been treated fairly. It is a beautiful campus, well run and compensation is decent. I highly recommend it. My department, in particular, is fantastic. I love going to work.
