OnDeck is great for a person who has family and a person that just likes to live life! They are really good about working with you when you need to be gone. If you have an appointment, no problem. If your child is sick, no problem. They are great all around!

Learning and development is mostly focused on men. Women are often treated very differently, especially in meetings and when trying to convey a technical POV to other technical folks. There are also very very few women in executive level positions - the CEO constantly talks about how this happened solely because he "hires the right person for the job". Whilst their culture looks great from the outside, there is a dark side to FreshBooks that you only see once you spend time with the executive level personnel.

As a woman you are not taken seriously. You will not even be looked at for a promotion even with all of the qualifications and a man with no qualifications will get the position. They will not tell you what you need to work on.

March 2018

While the print industry as a whole is male dominated, Phoenix Litho goes even further. Other than administrative, billing, and other office positions, there are very few women employed and absolutely none in leadership or management roles. Be prepared for condescension, man-plaining, and a complete dismissal of any suggestions.

January 2017

We have wonderful female leaders but there is still a disconnect to providing a culture that fosters family balance, and sending messages that help retain female talent. For example, there is not a designated pumping room for working mothers. It's very difficult to get managers to understand when you need to take your child to a doctor appointment.
