"Your voice will be heard, and you will be respected. However, some of the male leaders always have final say despite a whole room of people agreeing with your proposed strategy/tactic. The strategy this exec proposed might fail, and your objectives won't be met, but you have to take it with a grain of salt because it will happen continuously. You'll learn a lot of skills and how to deal with personalities, but growth is a hard thing to factor into the experience."

"I worked for the marketing department, which is one of the top three departments at this company that does not have flexibility. That is likely the same at most corporate offices, but you have to be on call during holidays and time off if daily sales aren't reaching the financial goals. Expect texts, calls, emails, etc. until you respond... even if you're out of state on holiday."
