They make you download an app that holds your digital business card. This is not an issue except for the picture on the card is a silhouette of a broad shouldered man. So I have to explain that to every customer.

It's pretty good as a stepping stool, but you can't get far in the long-term here. It's still very much a boy's club, and the boys (mostly subconsciously I think) favor boys.

This is an organization created by trash men, and they have a very "good old boys" network to the organization.

Working here is competitive and exciting. Technology company with good brand name. Colleagues are intelligent and hardworking. Some managers are very good, they allow flexible work hours.

It's deceptive if you only look at top management as an indicator of jbh being women friendly. One of the most powerful executives is a woman. However, in the lower ranks, there is little room to move around unless you are willing to take demotions and the pay is ridiculously low. I've been in 3 positions in 5 yrs and still make so little my son gets free lunch at school.

April 2016

In general, there are great benefits for all employees and it's an exciting time to be at the company. Their paid maternity leave lags way behind most tech companies, but their other benefits are great (and they have strong paternity leave policy - probably because the company is mostly men).

March 2016

People are very committed to the mission, and are also quite smart and well-rounded. Overall I'm very happy with the peers I work with. But, it can be very political and there seems to be a lot of "talking about" each other rather than directly to each other when there are issues.
