Majority female staff but there appears to be a focus in hiring more men lately, many who now occupy C-Suite level positions. Ethnic diversity is fairly low but that's typical in PR/marketing, unfortunately. Many working moms on staff so flex-time is generally accepted and encouraged with many parents WFH on Fridays, or leaving before official office closing time. For an agency, Marina Maher Communications does a great job in emphasizing work-life balance, which is highly unusual in this industry.

Great place to work for women. Some issues that are seen across tech 'bro' culture do exist here, but the official policies help to combat them, and everyone is very well intentioned.

    Flexibility varies widely from department to department and manager to manager. Upper leadership gives lip service to work-life balance but does respect time off and some act like they are doing you a huge favor when you ask for flex time.

I was only an RA/TA, so I can't say what it's like for female faculty. There were actually plenty of RAs and TAs in the mechanical engineering department when I was there, and in general the culture from the top down was positive and encouraging. Beware the undergraduates, of course; they can be real chauvinists.
