"Paid maternal and paternal leave but they will use your PTO first. Therefore, by the time you are done hopefully healing and bonding with new baby. With the hope new baby is in perfect health, mom in perfect health, and everything else is going AMAZING. No one else gets devastatingly sick or else there is no paid leave left unless you banked a ton of PTO. LIKE A TON! But, also you can only roll over so much per year total any way? It is a false hope. Exciting to hear but the real, real is painful reality. "
