I would say to be cautious in senior leadership roles. Women are there but the organization has a long way to go to treat them the same.

If you work in the corporate office or non shift based hospital work, you can negotiate flexibility if your manager / director allows. It's getting better but not all are the same.

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. At senior level it is mostly men. Women are not treated the same. Nurses tend to be women so nursing leaders are most respected as women.

If you can handle being disrespected on a daily basis this is the job for you. If you cannot, then I don't recommend working here.

Very unprofessional. Chiropractor who owns the business is very disrespectful towards women and will openly talk down to you in front of patients. He is prejudice when hiring and will not hire anyone who is pregnant or who has a family because he wants his business to come first.

Strong female leadership seems to be missing. I believe women can and would excel here, but there is a void at this time.

Could use more women in leadership positions at the facility, but there are a lot of women in health care and within the company who set a great example for others! I would hope that we start to see more female CEOs, but there are a few.

Very difficult to advance in this company due longevity of current employees. Benefits are excellent. Mid-level managers are not consistent with management styles causing animosity among employees.

Mostly older people work here, so for a younger woman there isn't any peer group. Lots of travel expected from most positions Not very flexible working conditions (i.e.: working from home is not usually allowed). Very unstable work environment - lots of turnover.
