August 2015

Be prepared for death by a thousand paper cuts. Lots of "harmless" comments, gestures, and actions. I defend my gender almost daily. There are very few women in management to look to for how to get ahead. Southern culture does dictate "gentlemanly" behavior towards all women, but be prepared to be treated more like a lady than a colleague. Obviously this isn't true for all groups but seems prevalent within IT. Great company, very flexible and respectful of work-life balance though.

Maybe. Depends on the group, but I would say this is definitely still a boys' club on the business and IT side.

May 2015

Opportunities are more apt to be given to men over women. Women are in senior roles typically associated with females. Women are now also competing for sr positions with global resources available to work in the Us.
