"If you have the chance to work for a company that has better benefits and work/life balance, take it and move to a different location if necessary."

"I hear a lot from leadership how they want their nurses to be happy and how we should take care of ourselves but their staffing ratios, hours/schedule/shifts, unpaid maternity leave, etc. are in direct contradiction to the statements I've heard. Their policies do not support the image they try to present to the public. How they are a Magnet Facility for nursing is beyond my belief. They developed the bare minimum required to receive that award and use their senior nurses to "put on a good face" for the surveyors."
