November 2018

I would highly not recommend this job. I have a young family, was not offered health insurance, working full time, after the allotted time period. I was constantly, and I mean, constantly on my phone working from home, the school pick-up line, nights, weekends and was not compensated for a vast majority of it. The company is owned by a woman, kudos! But her vision and sight are not on what really matters, the patients/residents, let alone her employees. This company is all about the money at the end of the day and it breaks my heart.

It's flexible in the sense that you can arrive to work at variable times but most times are based on others schedules. I had to schedule myself around 3 other dietitians scheduled.

It's a great place to work! There is a lot of diversity and it feels great to know that the work you're doing on Gender Equity will make a difference in NYC,

I think it is really important to negotiate your starting salary well, as it isn't easy to re-negotiate after you've started. Having said that, the career development opportunities here are great and they put a lot of emphasis and effort on corporate culture and making sure that everyone is enjoying their jobs and knows their colleagues well.

I don't feel that flexible working is really a thing that gets mentioned a lot in my team - I know that other companies are a lot more open about it.

Some level of understanding as far as needing to take care of family, but not much. For the most part, it is a traditional boys' club. Health benefits are good but don't outweigh the unequal treatment.
