"RUN. RUN. RUN. RUN. RUN. RUN. RUN.RUN.
They have NO balance for work/ life, they do not trust their employees one iota. There are MANY other 2nd tier CPA firms to work for, try ANY of them over this mish-mash of acquired firms with ZERO culture."

"The managers of certain teams (outsourced CFO specifically) require their entire team (Accountants, Managers, Controllers, and yes, CFOs) to be logged onto Teams every day from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm. If you are away more than 15 minutes, you are required to post in another channel why and when you'll be back.
In 25 years of experience, I have never seen such childish behavior from a CFO-level supervisor who was afraid of her own shadow.
The team is literally bullied into suppression, and the last 2 people who mentioned that the employees are SALARIED and TRUSTED to get their work done, with deadlines, not clocks daily, were fired (California, termination on the spot is legal/ at -will BS).
CBIZ's model is to absorb smaller CPA firms and companies, and force employees into their own practice model, with little to no onboarding assistance.
Our FIRST DAY as a CBIZ company was a 6-hour "all hands meeting", with NOT A SINGLE BIO BREAK, let alone 5 minutes for lunch.
Oh, and they begin on THEIR time zone, so it was 6 am for us California employees. Forget about getting a child to school or anything else, it was "professional dress please and all cameras on at all times".
I can not shout any LOUDER about how horribly this firm treats its professional staff. "
