"Commercial real estate is a boys' club. If you think you can handle that environment, CBRE might be good for you. But if that will bother you, I would avoid commercial real estate altogether, because the other CRE firms are worse."

"It depends on which department you're in. Brokers have tons of flexibility. I'm in marketing and we have the ability to work from home but we are expected to work ALL THE TIME."
