"CFs beware. This company will take advantage of you as cheap labor. Whatever is said in your interview, double check that it is in your contract. I was told that I would not be traveling between facilities, that I was guaranteed 40 hours a week, and that it “is not a productivity driven company.” None of this was true. After signing my contract I was sent to other facilities (some 45 minutes away), received as little as 32 hours a week, and was told to clock out if my productivity was not at 88%. Expect them to do nothing more than provide the bare minimum of supervision as outlined by the ASHA guidelines. The pay is low. After committing to Champion, I received a job offer with another company for 10$ more per hour. PRN employees were given hours that full-time employees should have received. The training regarding company policies and paperwork was both lacking and incorrect. Nevertheless, I was held accountable for doing the paperwork the way I was trained. If you are looking for a CF or a “full time” position, look elsewhere."
