Get everything in writing. They are big micro-managers to the good employees, but the ones that are consistently late or only do half of their work are able to take it easy.

Even in cleared environments, there is work that can be done from home. Unfortunately there is little support for this, especially from male managers and those who are prior military.

As long as you aren't reporting to one certain individual, this can be a very supportive and positive place to work.

We are just missing some common sense and respect from a person in a key leadership position. It is disheartening some of the comments and actions made that could ultimately lead to a lawsuit.

Equality is present. The CEO is a woman, an ethnic woman at that. There are women in leadership positions across the district.

Don't be in it for compensation and benefits. Be in it for the kids. The culture is lovely. Poeple care about one another here.

There is definitely a good old boy network at play here. They need to change the culture at the executive level, not just keep their male friends in positions they cannot maintain.

July 2015
I was with the company for almost a year and the pay was good and the management was great. I was actually very surprised at how well the benefits were considering the reputation the company has, but I think that is more over how it treats its students rather then its employees.
